The room was clean and spacious.

We really appreciated cool pool after driving on dusty roads. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The place was really original (especially the decoration) and clean. We enjoyed beautiful view.

Staff were awesome...such a welcoming and service oriented group. Particular mentions to Tony who was always ready to help and share a joke and to Lazarus the manager who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in

We had a wonderful stay at Mianzi Guest House, the rooms were simple but spacious and clean, the common area was very nice to sit in, the breakfast and dinner were fantastic. But what really stood out was the staff, Emma and his team really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay, they provided everything we needed, even joined us on our tours. We planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 5, i think thats telling enough how good it was :) Oh and the view of the Volcanoes in the morning is absolutely incredible!

The location is amazing with a great view of the river Nile, and the kalagala falls.

one of the most beautiful hotels I have visited in Eastern Africa, a resort of peace in the buzzing Kampala of today. very spacious common areas, nice restaurants, amazing gym and beautiful pool in unique surroundings but up in the hills amazing stuff, very friendly and open for any kind of suggestions around the stay cannot wait to come and see you again

Very clean and quiet with affordable provision for take out from close restaurants.

This eco lodge is solar powered with delightful staff and a wonderful view over the lake from the verandaed stilt house dining area. It's isolated and tranquil with some traditional huts for accommodation. We sat upstairs on the covered verdanda for hours, drinking beer, using the wifi (intermittent but it does work!) and watching the huge national bird (crested crane) fly over head and nest in the trees nearby. Loved the view. Also ate meals there - of course a bit more expensive than in town but still fairly priced and tasted good. Free purified water offered. (no shops on the island) Take a taxi or moto from town to the boat (20 mins). Then take the little boat with outboard motor (book ahead with the lodge). (Lodge will tell you how much to expect to pay for the taxi). We were there in the rainy season and still loved it. Appreciated the hot showers after trying out the traditional wooden dug out canoe in the rain! Really recommend this place if you enjoy simplicity and nature away from the busy towns in Uganda.

Do take their best rooms, they are far more spacious and are a bargain for the price. Nice and honest staff. Good setting.

We love the facilities, the room and the restaurant are very good. The food is very tasty. The staff makes you feel like home. Good place to stop and relax. Nice to walk around.
