Some rooms at the property have a balcony with a city view. The family who run the hotel are so lovely. They helped us find the hotel and navigate the very steep roads. Theu provided parkinf and no need to use your car whilst there as they offer a really helpful free taxi service where they drive you into the town and pick up for free up until 11pm. The rooms were clean and traditional and they were also well maintained with good facilities. I would recommend anyone who wants to see Gjirokaster and visit the castle and town to stay at this hotel! I think the people who run the hotel really made this experience!

The pool is a great touch to cool down in after a busy day exploring.

All units in the hotel are fitted with a kettle. Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and free toiletries, the units at Stitch&Stone Suites have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms will provide you with a seating area. All guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a coffee machine. Truly one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Suites were absolutely stunning, every detail thought through (the proprietor is an architect and you can see her design choices everywhere). The beds are ridiculously comfortable. Great toiletries, bottled water, espresso maker in the rooms. Location is amazing for walking through the bazaar or to local museums and historic houses and to the castle. Breakfast was included (and yummy!) at the cafe downstairs. Amazing value, couldn’t recommend more highly.
