She went above and beyond to make this place homey it had everything you need and more. Really wish we stayed more than one night. She picked us up and dropped us off from the ferry terminal which was so kind and showed us around town. Pool was amazing and house was so cozy. Such a welcoming host!

The hostess Lizzie was fantastic, helpful and friendly throughout the entire stay. It was a pleasure meeting her at Check Out. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to the island!

Deb, the host, was wonderful. She prepared a great breakfast and was very helpful with everything. The room and the house had everything, which we needed for a wonderful holiday.

Situated in Nelly Bay, just 50 metres from the beach, Island Leisure Resort offers self-contained bungalows with a flat-screen TV. The property also features a swimming pool and tennis court. Great location- a block from the beach, a block from the $1 island bus, the pier and the park with Playground… The staff was friendly and the resort was beautiful, with lots of privacy, …loved the game room. Easy to see the whole island from there in two days. Or was like a whole house with full living room, kitchen, patio… Very quiet.

Just 200 metres from Picnic Bay Beach, Tropical Palms Inn offers air-conditioned rooms with a kitchenette and a private balcony or courtyard. This was a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It was easy to find and just a short walk from the esplanade that has a few restaurants, a pub, a cafe, a brewery and a gorgeous beach with a jetty to fish off (or just watch the world go by) and a swimming net. Picnic Bay is a quite spot on the island but the busses run frequently and on time to get you anywhere else on the island if you want to explore. The man on reception was so friendly with a no fuss check in and super informative about anything we needed to know. The accommodation is small but absolutely spotless. Paths and gardens were clean and maintained, the pool was sparkling, the outdoor bbq area super clean and spacious and the rooms were just perfect, actually better than the photos. They had everything we needed for our night stay, we would definitely stay again and hopefully for longer next time.

Our host Kate was amazing and very helpful, we had a lovely stay and the pool was very nice! If we ever visit magnetic island we will definitely stay at Kates again :)
