Gisela and Celestine were fantastic hosts. Doris is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The whole of the property, including the top floor we stayed in, was immaculately clean. Our top floor room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and really set us up for the day. And Doris is happy to work breakfast at whatever time you want. We were even made a cup of tea brought up to our room after a long day. It was very clear that Doris wants to make sure everyone has a lovely stay in her home

The location is perfect for us. We can reach Basel in 30 minutes by car. There is parking space at the private ground. The room was a great size, great facilities. The staff were really nice and great English. Nothing too much trouble. Great location , great price.

The owner's family are all kind, friendly and helpful. The sweetest surprise is the young couple speak Mandarin. The husband was in China for 4 years and the wife is from China. The food is very good, both breakfast and during the day. Very good location. 1 minute walk from the tram station. Beautiful mountains and lake nearby. Thoughtful advice on sightseeing.
