This is a really neat and stylish hostel. Everything was constantly kept clean and tidy. Rooms were in great shape with modern equipment, comfortable and warm. The kitchen is spacious and provides plenty of everything for cooking and food storage. There is also a coffee machine and free tea. Best of all is the host who was super friendly and helpful. He provided us with great recommendations for daily trips around the island, what to visit, how to get there, popular highlights and germs off the beaten track. His effort was just amazing. We enjoyed our stay here very much. During 8 months of travels this was one of the best hostels we stayed at, and we would come back to the place at any time.

Mi casa chilota se encuentra en Ancud, en la región de Chiloé, cerca de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis. The family is wonderful. They made us feel like we were at home.

Hostal Casa Damasco se encuentra en Ancud, a 15 min a pie de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Cabañas y hostal Aurora está a 1,9 km de Playa Sabanilla y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. Aunque es un poco complicado llegar en auto, vale totalmente la pena, porque las vistas son espectaculares. Las instalaciones son excelentes, muy limpias. El desayuno muy completo y tienen café y té a libre disposición todo el día. Sobretodo, destacar el trato, que no podría haber sido mejor. Realmente te hacen sentir en casa. ¡Y las dos perritas que están en el patio son la mejor parte!!

13 Lunas Hostel se encuentra en Ancud, a 18 min a pie de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. El hostal me pareció precioso, muy bien cuidado y limpísimo. Me ayudaron mucho con un problema que tuve y fueron super flexibles también. Y sobre todo, gente amable y simpática!

Cabañas Lomas de Ten Ten es un alojamiento frente a la playa que se encuentra en Castro, a 18 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y a 26 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de... La cabaña está en lo alto y abajo se ve la bahía a la que se puede acceder desde el predio.Toso precioso decorado muy bien equipada y con colchones cómodos tiene un balcón a la bahía de ensueño.c Nos ofrecieron dos kayaks para recorrer la bahía y nos dieron todo tipo de recomendaciones.Muy agradecidos Totalmente recomendable

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!
