Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal Conservation Area, only 2.7 km from the Arenal Volcano. What a beautiful place. The views are superb to the lake and the volcano. The trails are amazing with a wonderful range of wildlife, and the number of different brightly coloured birds we could watch from the deck really was spectacular. Shame we only had one night there but the staff were happy for us to stay as long as we wanted (we left at about 5pm) on the day that we left.

The pool was very cozy both in the normal temperature part with a superlative water bar it was years that I waited for such a relaxing situation .. I had dinner several times. Optimal reception also with particular attention to families. I was also rewarded with a dinner invitation from the Resort for the whole family. SUPER! The exceptional breakfast service and also the very professional bar service among my memories great moments with the bartender Solonero. The saloon for breakfast and dinner has a fantastic view on the VOLCANO and it is absolutely unique. Activities such as horseback riding and searching for Perezosos are highly recommended and adventurous....everything absolutely an experience to replicate

Villas have a kitchenette and lounge. The standard and superior rooms are set in different areas of the property. Everything was AMAZING!!! Maravilloso, sin palavras. Es el paradiso! Un veradero paradiso. Piscinas maravillosas, limpio, poca gente, unas condiciones absolutamente inigualables! Superó todas mis expectativas. El bar tiene unas margaritas buenísimas y comida muy rica! Es una experiencia alucinante! Lo aconsejo a todo el mundo, es un 10/10!!!
