The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

It's and excellent place with warm, hardworking and good people. Fantastic spot to hike to the volcano. We had one of the best meals here in whole Cabo Verde, Ciza is an amazing cook and traditional dishes she prepared were just delicious. It's simple, yet generous home. Rose is an excellent guide, patiently answered all our questions. We surly will be back. Keep up a good work, you are doing great 😸 Fingers crossed the restaurant will be in place, when we will be back next time!

Hotel Savana ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en São Filipe, frente a la playa, y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Casa Adriano & Filomena está en Portela y ofrece restaurante y bar. Este bed and breakfast dispone de parking privado gratis y cocina compartida. Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. Thanks Adriano and Filomena for these days on another planet !

Pensao Zé Doce está en Portela y ofrece bar. Este bed and breakfast tiene jardín y parking privado gratis. Hay toallas y ropa de cama en el bed and breakfast. Villages on the lava field in caldera is incredible. Jose is super host. He organize pick up, cooking, tours around island. They brothers are very good gidės to climb to volcano. My big thanks to Felix. I would reccomend to stay there min. 2 nights.

Pipi's Guest House se encuentra en São Filipe y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. Playa de São Filipe está a 2,4 km del alojamiento. This beautiful guesthouse is situated on a hill above town, with beautiful views and a nice breeze. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing- an extravaganza of fresh fruits, bread, island jams, fruit juices, pancakes, eggs, cereal, fresh goat cheese from a local farm, cake, and yogurt. I am probably forgetting some items. We had dinner with Pipi as well, and it was fabulous. Pipi is a great cook. Everything was delicious. The guesthouse serves meals on a flowery terrace overlooking the bay. You hear the birds sing all day long here. Walking to Sao Filipe took us about 15 min, and we enjoyed being slightly out of the main town. The airport is a 5-10 min walk. I really liked this place and would stay here again.
