Every morning, a freshly prepared breakfast by Restaurant Isabel was delivered directly to my room—sweet and savory pastries, fruit, and juice—luxurious in its simplicity. My hosts, Léa and João, were absolutely wonderful. They welcomed me warmly from the moment I arrived, with genuine kindness and a sense of caring that made me feel instantly at ease. João is a guide, ask him for hikings! I also want to highlight the friendliness of every person I met in the area—they were open, warm, and made this journey feel safe and connected. At night, I would gaze up at the stars from my cozy funco—the sky, completely free of light pollution, felt like a universe unfolding just for me.

After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. Reasonable price, clean room and very welcoming and helpful host Rose. Basic but decent breakfast (I ask it to serve at 6am before the hiking Fogo, and it was there exactly at time). The wifi is available outside the house, 20 metres in front of the hotel, close to the restaurant

Hotel Savana ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en São Filipe, frente a la playa, y dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín y terraza. Beautiful old villa in the best location in Sao Filipe. I was upgraded to the nicest room they have - it was very spacious and with breathtaking view over the sea and Brava island. Very pleasant staff, tasty breakfast and swimming pool. All of it for a decent price. Totally recommended!

Alcindo and Leticia did everything that they could to make our stay memorable. We are thankful for their generosity, time and general love of the good things in life. We thoroughly recommend doing the hike with a guide !

TCHAN LOVe tiene vistas a la ciudad y está en Portela. Cuenta con restaurante, club infantil, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. Estuvimos dos noches , lugar tranquilo a pie del volcán. Subimos al volcán con su guía, Juliano , y todo fue perfecto

Casa Adriano & Filomena está en Portela y ofrece restaurante y bar. Este bed and breakfast dispone de parking privado gratis y cocina compartida. Adriano and Filomena welcomed our group of 4 people in their house. The place was perfect for us: great location, wonderfull view on the caldeira and on the volcano, quality of the staff, size of the room, good food made by them. They have done everything to feel at home. Take time to discuss with Adriano, he has many stories to tell you about the caldeira and about Fogo. Thanks Adriano and Filomena for these days on another planet !
