Very friendly staff, both at check in, and the next day for breakfast and checkout. We actually had car troubles the next day and the front desk staff person was very helpful arranging for a tow truck. Room was very clean, and the bed was very comfy. Best part was, the hotel was so quiet - we could not hear anyone else, and it was so peaceful. Breakfast the next morning was excellent.

The room was very unique, charming and comfortable - and the bathroom was fantastic, including the big bathtub! The daily breakfast was excellent and the location was spectacular!

From 4 March 2024, our parking garage will only be accessible via Maximilianstraße due to construction measures in Katharinengasse. Each time I arrive at Maximilian is like coming home. They provide a unique atmosphere which I enjoy each time. The location right at the center of the city is perfect. The bar is probably the best at all.

We walked to the beer garden down by the river, visited the wall city and it's historic buildings, and found a fantastic Italian restaurant which locals loved. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with eggs made to order. The woodwork in our room added so much character. Staff was so very friendly!
