Our host, Mick, could not have been any more pleasant during our stay. He is a mine of information about the local area, and indeed the island in general. Morning breakfast was a lovely selection of locally sourced foods, served up in the communal lounge area next to each of our rooms. Following this up with a good walk in the hillside next to the accomodation, with the route advised by Mick as one that not many of the locals get to see.

Carrick Rooms se encuentra en Port St Mary, a 3 min a pie de Chapel Bay Beach y a 7 km de Castillo Rushen, y ofrece vistas al mar y wifi gratis. The property was welcoming, extremely clean, and conveniently located at walking distance to several restaurants and pubs as well as to local free parking. Nick and his family made us feel at home. He suggested so many interesting places to explore over our 3 night visit. We will definitely recommend Carrick Rooms and the Isle of Man to our friends looking for an adventurous destination!

Shore Hotel se encuentra en Port St Mary, a pocos pasos de Brewery Beach, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, restaurante y bar. Right next to Gansey Bay, views of the sea, hills, fields and Port St Mary, wonderful. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Food served is excellent with a wide choice of items.

Really friendly hosts, made a really nice full English breakfast, were more than happy to accommodate a vegan version, went to buy vegan products. Offered complimentary tea and oat milk. Allowed me to check in VERY early, when I arrived on the Isle of Man quite early in the morning by ferry. (Located a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal) Even agreed to go to the post office to mail my postcard after I left! Gave helpful advice about public transportation and things to do... made for really friendly conversation, thank you again! If I ever return to the Isle of Man, would be happy to stay here.
