The staff were very polite and the room spacious and elegant. The position was first rate with the castle at one end of the street, a church at the other and lovely Georgian houses in between. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. There was also plentiful safe free parking on the street outside. A walk in the castle grounds is recommended.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the town centre. Decor is very fitting to the house and well presented. Ample on-street parking directly opposite. Very quite room.

Hotel is immaculate. Staff really helpful & friendly on reception and in the bar. Very central location with free parking just around the corner (2min walk). Room & en-suite very clean. Breakfast was delicious too

Great location close to the Castle with ample on street parking. The room was clean and comfortable with all modern facilities. Breakfast was outstanding and the decor in the cafe/dining room was great. Would happily recommend and if we're back in Birr again, we will return to The Stables.

The room was very neat and tidy. Mary was an excellent host and even when my flight got delayed and I reached her place after check-in hours, she was understanding and helped me out with directions to local shops and restaurants for dinner. The room was cosy and had its own shower and toilet. There was ample free parking after 6pm
