Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

Everything is AMAZING. In my villa type, there was a huge bath, a private bath deck to cool off on, a sauna, and a massage chair. It was all enjoyable and extremely high quality. The floors in the living room could be heated and there was A/C in every room. They even included 5-7 free drinks in the fridge! The appliances in the kitchen were all so high quality, including a microwave/oven/grill, rice cooker, nespresso pod brewer (coffee and decaf provided), and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer combo as well (drying does take <4 hours). There are some food options available in the vending machine area, like instant curry and rice. 7 minute walk to station, 5 minute walk to supermarket. This place was SO thoughtfully designed. 100%, I’ve never been in a nicer accommodation. I even got it for a great price in January (54,000円 for two nights, number of guests didn’t raise the price). I’d stay again. And again!

The host is super nice and helpful. While staying at Mr. Hiro’s place you can feel the real Japan. The whole place was very clean and there was a cozy onsen inside. We highway recommend it!

Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is gelegen op 7,7 km van Treinstation Nikko en 8,1 km van station Tobu Nikko, en biedt kamers met airconditioning en een gedeelde badkamer in Nikko. The host was so kind and created a nice environment for the guests. He was helpfull and let me leave my backpack once I checked out. Also, free snacks and coffee!

Shinkyo Inn bevindt zich in Nikko, op 12 minuten lopen van schrijn Nikko Toshogu, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren en een bar. It was an excellent stay. The location is very convenient for exploring Nikko and the inn has amazing river views. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The best part about our overnight stay was the owners - really warm, friendly and welcoming, gave us great information on places to see. Overall it was a highlight of our trip, much better than any hotels. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be coming back to this inn on our next trip to Japan.

Nikko Cottage Yurt is een accommodatie 13 minuten lopen in Nikko, op 2,4 km van Treinstation Nikko, en heeft voorzieningen zoals een kitchenette en flatscreen-tv. Amazing host! We got picked up from the station and we even received a very nice cake from the local bakery!
