It was a great experience, with a huge vibe. Staying on a previous school. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. With good coffee/chocolate/tea available. Staff was amazing and made a great sugestion for dinner.

Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan, this one is by far the best. The room is very clean and fragrant, and has complete amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It even has a washing machine that is easy to use. I also love the balcony - it has a great view of the train station. The staff are really nice. They communicate and respond well to questions. They even offered me extra bottled water when I requested for more. One of them also helped me with my luggage delivery even though he was on his break. The hotel is in a perfect location, just beside the bus/train station. There’s a FamilyMart nearby and everything is a short walking distance away. I really got my money’s worth. I would definitely stay here again! I had a lovely time.

SOKI ATAMI bevindt zich in Atami, op 1,7 km van Atami Sun Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. We loved our terrace room and 17:30 dinner wich was carefully curated and delicious. Everything was excellent. This hotel has really good wibe.

Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago ligt in Shirakawa, op 45 km van Openluchtmuseum Hida Minzoku Mura, Hida no Sato, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een... Fantastische ervaring gehad. Beste hotel in japan. Klant vriendelijk proper en fijne ruime kamers. Super mooie omgeving zeker aangeraden.

HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA is gunstig gelegen in het centrum van Takayama, en biedt kamers met airconditioning, een bar, gratis WiFi en massagediensten. Privéparkeren kan worden geregeld tegen een meerprijs.... Everything was right, from start to finish. The place, the bed, the lounge, I’m literally planning to go back with my family. Is the first time ever, while traveling, that I’ve felt so comfortable in a hotel room. I felt like the room was a place to be, to stay, to live and it didn’t bother me to be there while a snowstorm was raging outside. The bed was amazing, even though it was a Japanese futon, the staff was super nice and welcoming and the free drinks at the lounge were amazing. This is the best hotel I’ve ever been and I will definitely return.

Located at 13-minute walk from Nagoya Station, Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower offers free WiFi throughout the hotel. Shared parking is available on site for a fee. The beautiful view from our corner suite, on the 33rd floor, was exceptional. The extras included for these rooms were fabulous.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. The people working there are both friendly, helpful and caring, it felt like they had a genuine intrest in their guests. The common areas are clean and cosy with a relaxed vibe, and when I was there the guests interacted with each other so you could get to know new people if you wanted to. The place was also in walking distance to both the bus station, old part of town and to a shopping mall with a proper supermarket. If you dont want to walk, there is a 7/11 right next door, or there is the possibility to buy food and coffee at the place. If I come back to Takayama I would choose to stay here again

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The place is absolutely beautiful. By far one of the nicest hotels I've been in. Every detail is well thought of, and the location near Takayama Old city is great.
