Hotel and staff are so very accommodating. We were upgraded to the tree house which was a fun experience, overlooking the river. Room and hotel is very clean. Bed very comfortable. Pool is lovely and towels available poolside. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and less expensive than in town. The hotel helped book us a safari and provided a boxed breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel was also delicious and lots of effort was made to accommodate by food intolerance. Highly recommend!

Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. The place is amazing and is a must when visiting Yala! The staff is attentive and always ready to help you with a smile on their face. They go the extra mile to make the whole experience unforgetable. We did the full day safari and were lucky to see two leopards!  The bbq night was also amazing I highly recommend this place and you won't regret staying here.

Incredible value for money, lovely pool and spacious room with a balcony and even bean bags. The pool is divine and the pool furniture is beautiful. Close to stunning beach. Definitely recommend. One of thr nicest places we stayed and pretty cheap.

Great value for money. Appreciate the hospitality. I wish nothing but the best for the Art Yala team. There was a good breakfast and a lot of restaurants close by for convenience. Definitely head to the ancient temples close by. It's right next to the lake so it was very relaxing for my family.

The place is fantastic. The room is spacious and has all the amenities you need. Small fridge, kettle tea coffee. There is water in the bedroom as well. We had an amazing stay. They can accommodate for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and all home made. They offer tours to Yala park as well and it's definitely worth it we had one of the best guides.

I loved everything about this place. I would like to start by commending Gayan, the host! He is probably the best and nicest host I've had in Sri Lanka. He sent me to the town FOC to get some of the best Sri Lankan food I've eaten, given me a free nature tour around the lake where we can see fruit bats and owls, arranged the safari at the most affordable rate I could find, had some of the most interesting conversations about plants, animals, Sri Lankan culture, etc. Everything in this place felt like a family home. We had tea at 4AM before the safari and was also welcomed back with a king coconut! The room was also amazingly clean, spacious, well decorated and came with an extra cooler fan because Tissa can get quite hot. I definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Word cannot express how grateful we are to Nalin and Isharni for welcoming us into their home during Sinhalese New Year. Staying at Black Panther Yala was the absolute highlight of our two weeks in Sri Lanka. It was such a special weekend where we learnt/ate traditional food (e.g. oil cake), participated in the rituals and traditions and met the neighbours and relatives. The room was comfortable and the food delicious. Dinner included is such a rare treat. The location is lovely, set next to the wetlands. You can borrow bike and ride around the area. We did a safari through a driver that our host recommended and it was amazing. I would highly recommend Black Panther to anyone!

The property is in a small village in the nature, you are really close to the village itself but the property feels like miles away and is so peaceful. The property is simple but clean and has all necessary amendities. Prasad was the best host we ever had, every question and concern or request was adressed immediately. He arranged a tranfers and safari for us for very a reasonable price. His family provides delicious breakfast and dinner if requested which was a real taste of Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Udara's place was really amazing, Udara was behaving to us as the family, he took us also to many interesting places, prepared the delicious food for us together with his mother and arranged the beautiful trip to Yala Safari. It was probably our best stay in Sri Lanka. Also the villa and rooms were really beautiful, comfortable, with perfect air condition and strong wifi. Absolutely recommend and hope we will return in future!
