Rooms were super clean, the hotel seems to be new, the design was super cozy. Breakfast was great. Thank you to everyone at Riad Dar Awil for making my stay so memorable. I could gladly return and recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira.

Yassine, the manager, could not have been more attentive and any need is no problem. Served with a smile. Great place to stay and good value.

We stayed in 9 diff places during our Morocco road trip, and this was our favorite one. Clean, high ceilings make it feel extra roomy, pool and washing machine were what we were looking for, a very nice & relaxing property.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We felt not like guests, but like part of a family. Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh fruit, warm msemen, homemade jams, and mint tea served with a smile. The location is ideal — a short walk to the beach, the port, the souks, and all the best restaurants and cafés. Yet once inside the riad, it feels like a tranquil oasis away from the bustle. We’ve stayed in many places across Morocco, but this riad truly stands out for its atmosphere, warmth, and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back.

Its a great place to find peace end enjoy the heated pool, yoga, massages and good traditional food. Thanks to the hosts that made our experience wonderful. We hope to visit again.
