I'd highly recommend the nearby zoo in Al Naseem Park as well. The rooms were super clean and the place was comfortable. Highly recommend this place for travelers!

The house was extremely cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated with the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern touches. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and very inviting. Inside, there were two lovely outdoor seating areas, both thoughtfully designed, plus a charming swing that added a playful touch. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the main area. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Alaqer Wall and about 7 minutes to Nizwa Fort. There are plenty of cafés nearby and even a small supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. We received a thoughtful little gift after check-out, which made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place for families or groups—it’s the perfect spot to relax, feel at home, and enjoy exploring Nizwa to the fullest.

This place is a little gem, a lucky last minute find. The location is wonderful, right amongst the palms with a beautiful outlook and only a few minutes walk through to the old village. In addition to nicely appointed bedroom and bathroom for a very affordable price, there are several outdoor lounging areas with elevated views over the fields. Hamza was a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and offered a traditionally cooked meal during my stay. I was sorry to only stay one night as it was very peaceful and relaxing, it would have been nice to stay longer.

It’s a lovely place just on the canyon jebel shams and right at the balcony walk. The room is clean with big windows . The terrace is amazing overlooking the canyon. The host Ali and his wife live just behind and are very kind. They make dinner and breakfast on request ans serve it either in the guest room in their home or on the terrace. We had so much fun chatting with Ali’s family in the evening. Lovely local people . Thanks

Bait Al Aali Guesthouse ligt in Al Ḩamrāʼ, op 45 km van Fort van Nizwa, en biedt een terras, rookvrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Het pension heeft familiekamers. Everything was perfect. From the beautiful house itself and the delicious food (both breakfast and dinner are included in the price, made at home or by local cooks, out of local products, easily one of the best, if not the best, I had in Oman), through small details like the smell of incense all around the guesthouse, elegant design choices, and the high quality soap (available to buy downstairs!), to the host herself and the ambience she creates for this place. I loved her idea to have shared dinners and breakfasts, with her and/or other travelers. It is a wonderful way to exchange stories and experiences while building a small community of Bait Al Aali people. Emina knows a lot about the region, has interesting stories to tell, a big heart for animals and is conscious about sustainable development of tourism. The area is magical and quiet, with a palm plantation just outside, where you can stroll for hours and relax. The room was spacious, with a lot of light, a big, comfortable bed and a private, very clean and modern bathroom. Everything is freshly renovated, the terrace has an incredible view of the area, and Emina makes sure that the place feels like home you want to return to. I’ll definitely be back for a longer stay!
