It was a pleasure to also meet members of the family who own the house. This is genuinely a unique place to stay in Salalah.

Probably the best and only hostel I found in Salalah and it exceeded expectations. Excellent Omani hospitality, especially from Hashem, who took care of everything. A family-run accommodation in the best way possible; warm, welcoming, and effortless. Location is perfect: just a 5-minute walk from the central market and the Mwasalat bus station to Muscat. Nearby cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs, and local spots all around. There’s a small grocery shop in the same building, and they offer car rentals if you’re heading to explore the mountains or coast. Facilities are well-maintained; fully equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms, and common areas. They have storage space if you arrive early or check out late, and super flexible with check-in timing. In short, value for money, excellent location, and true Omani hospitality. This place is an exceptional base while in Salalah. Highly recommend for anyone exploring Dhofar as an independent traveler.

AL Ghaith Hotel Apartment الغيث للأجنحة الفندقية is gelegen op 2,7 km van Strand van Al Haffa en 13 minuten lopen van Sultan Qaboes-moskee, en biedt accommodatie in Salalah. Super positioned apartment rent with tidy rooms and super nice staff. Communication was excellent and they were always smiling and welcoming. I spent 4 nights in room 605. They allowed for early check in, the view from the balcony over the city at sunrise is just amazing and room was tidy with AC. Parking in front of the building is without problems and it's full of local restaurants and shops in the area. Walking around felt very safe although I was the only tourist all the time. Very close to bus terminus and car rental agencies. Top for low budget visiting Salalah

First MEN bevindt zich in Salalah in de regio Dhofar Governorate, dicht bij Sultan Qaboes-moskee. De accommodatie biedt gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. It is a new and clean building with ample parking space. The building is located in a very calm & central area. The location is apt for travelers. The rooms are also clean and big. 2 bed rooms can easily accommodate 6 people. The room has a nice cozy kitchen with all the required utensils. It also had a washing machine and an Iron. All this at a reasonable price, at least we paid less (4.28 Rials) for 2 nights). The hotel management were very kind and polite, they even let us check-in early. We were 4 men, but I can any day suggest this place for a family. 5 stars to the management and the team.

Amazing place, amazing and peaceful location! After a tiring day, a stroll on the beach elevates your mood! Wake up to the view from balcony, sometimes you can spot a big cruise or a cargo vessel pass by! The venue is spotless clean, smells good with frankincense! A little detour from city center but i prefer a serene and calm location than bustling crowd and cement structures all around! I went there with parents, who enjoyed the pleasant stay this place offered! The Host is an amazing person! An Omani National - he ensured we had everything during our stay! Very humble and good at heart person! He blew our mind with amazing hospitality! Super glad i met a wonderful person during my stay! Suggestion - kindly prepare an alternative dental/ shaving kit, towels/ other small toiletries…! He is one person trying to arrange everything, sometimes things may get delayed! But he will arrange for sure!
