The camp location is unbeatable, sitting right on top of the dunes with breathtaking views. The staff made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Gautam, who was incredibly attentive to all our needs and made sure we got the room with the most spectacular view in the camp.

Royal desert campはAl Rakaにある宿泊施設です。無料専用駐車場と有料空港シャトルサービスを提供しています。 フロントではアラビア語と英語を話すスタッフが滞在のお手伝いをしています。 全ての旅行者にこのキャンプを訪れることを勧めます。このキャンプの素晴らしい点は、オーナーとスタッフの親切さ、フレンドリーさ、温かさです。海外旅行で宿に宿泊すると、多くの場合はチェックインとチェックアウトの時に簡単な会話しかしないですが、このキャンプは違います。宿泊者を家族として迎え入れてくれます。送迎の車の中や夕食、アクティビティツアーの時の会話は本当に楽しいものでした。 宿泊者は伝統的なスタイルのテントか、小さなホテルのような小屋を選ぶことになります。どちらも素敵です。私は小屋の方を選びました。部屋はシンプルですが、清潔感があります。砂漠なのにシャワーを浴びることができます。充電ができるコンセントも1つありました。そして、テントの近くには休憩所があり、ここに宿泊者が集まります。スタッフとともに、他の国の人と交流することができ、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごせます。私は英語が得意ではないのですが、ここにいる人はみんな親切なので問題ありません。 夕食やサンセットトリップなどアクティビティツアーに参加することをオススメします。どれも満足するものでした。 もちろん、ゆっくり過ごす時間もたくさんあります。 砂漠の静けさと、風を音だけを楽しむ時間はとてもリラックスできます。 そもそも、日本や韓国といった東アジアの人がオマーンは訪れる機会は少ないかもしれませんが、もしトルコなどを訪れるなら、是非オマーンにも行ってみてください。マスカット空港からMwasalatというバス会社が長距離バスを運行しています。空港から、キャンプの最寄りのバス停であるMintarib Souqまでは、往復で4.2ORM（日本円で1600円）。安いです。その先は有料のオプションとして、キャンプのスタッフが送迎してくれます。砂漠を訪れたことがないなら、なおさらオススメです。 オーナーのザック、スタッフのイルファン、イドリース、アーサラン、一緒にディナーを楽しんでくれた宿泊者、全ての人に感謝したいです。私にとって、これまでの人生で一番素敵な宿の時間でした。

The tents (we had the biggest ones)are very comfortable, beautifullly decorated, very clean with comfortable beds, seating area, bathroom and the best wiew for the sunrise! The host was the best ever, we felt very welcome and had much fun with the different activities that were possible to book after we arrived. The food was excellent! And we appreciated so much the time with the hosts and the rest of the guests in the evening after dinner. Had tea outside on the terrace watching the stars. I think this must be the best place to experience a day and night in the desert! We would love to do it again! Very safe driving from the meeting point in town through the desert after the var of our host. Driving through the desert is such a special experience, we lived it!

If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!
