Nestled between the jungle and the sea, right by the gorgeous Playa Bluff (not ideal for swimming but stunning nonetheless), the setting is pure paradise. With only 10 rooms, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate vibe. Our spacious room featured a large, comfortable bed and a private balcony — waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The service was excellent — the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious, making it tempting to dine in often. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Bocas Town, so I’d recommend having a taxi contact handy. One of our highlights was renting ATVs to explore the island — an amazing way to see more of the area (including the incredible beach “La piscina”) All in all, a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, and a bit of luxury, this place is a hidden gem.

At the accommodation, rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Hotel is really well maintained, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a good family vacation. Rooms are spacious enough (we stayed 2 adults + 2 kids), with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has an in-house restaurant "pier 19" that is also really good and with a lot of options. Another plus, they have coffee, tea and drinking water available for free at all times for the guests. Location is great, in the main island "Isla Colon", yet is not in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, so is very quote and peaceful, but anyways within a 5 min walk to where all the action is..., is a perfect combination.

The entire staff is amazing and they are doing their best to make you feel like home. We had a great time there! The food from the restaurant is the best that you can find on the island. I want to give a feedback about the room that is under the kitchen because I saw many comments about that room. We had that room and it was no issue in terms of noise. Cheers guys!

Situated within a few steps of Istmito and less than 1 km of Y Griega Beach, Santuarios del Mar provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. Free private parking is available and the apartment also features bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We stayed in the studio with a private balcony (Estrella del Mar). Loved sitting on the terrace with a cold beer overlooking the Caribbean sea and watching the sunset 😎. You can hire paddle boards/ canoes & take them straight into the water from the pier. Bikes also available to hire. Rebecca was a great host & always available to help with any questions. The owner, Sterling, was a top bloke who kindly dropped us back at the airport! It’s about a 20 min walk to town or you can jump in a taxi for $1 each. (During the day walk along the beach to cut the corner off & avoid the traffic on the main road)

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. In comparison to two other accommodations, Mosana was our highlight. If I had known about them prior, I would have made different accommodations for most of the time in Bocas del Toro and stay with them. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent hosts. Our room had a comfortable bed, bath and outside patio with kitchen accessories and a small refrigerator means you can stay here for a number of days very comfortably. A sea level concrete deck outside offers guests sunbathing and access to the water for wading and swimming. A few steps away a covered patio stands along the coast line adjacent to the kitchen area where Breakfast and dinner can be served. The food prepared is very good-excellent! Prices good! I would return here in the future.

Tropical Suites Hotel is an oceanfront boutique property located in the heart of Bocas del Toro, Panama. Rested on the shoreline, the hotel is a short walk to over the water restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Bocas, has a nice outdoor area with a pool and a bar that prepares delicious drinks. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the windows isolated us from the outside noise. Staff was very friendly.
