The new Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort – SHA Plus is an absolute beachfront property situated on Bangsak beach, a long stretch of coastline off the Andaman Sea, just a 90 minute drive from Phuket... The property was beautifully set on the beach. There was a delicious variety of food at breakfast and Chef Tao greeted us everyday. We especially enjoyed the lemongrass butterfly pea tea at the reception.

The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

We came to celebrate our anniversary, hotel upgraded our room for free surprisingly and prepared desserts during our dining experience and put a chocolate cake in the room. The service is excellent, we tried a few restaurants, food is all very delicious and price is reasonable. We love the beach, soft sand, clean sea water and plenty of free activities. And I love the pool, it is amazing, we had a lot of fun. Aircon is adjustable which is quite nice. And the airport transfer service is great. Highly recommend to stay here!

Buena opción calidad/precio. Aunque las playas no son de aguas cristalinas. Pero teníamos vacía la playa para nosotros.

Nang Thong Beach Resort está en Khao Lak, a pocos pasos de Playa de Nang Thong, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Location was beautiful. We really enjoyed eating our meals at the edge of the beach. The resort was spotless and there were always sunbeds available to us. The staff were lovely. I would highly recommend a stay there and look forward to returning myself.
