I had an amazing stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway in Zanzibar! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their kindness and professionalism. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and always spotless, with breathtaking ocean views. The food was outstanding fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and delicious local dishes made every meal a delight. The beach was well-maintained, and although seaweed appears naturally, a dedicated team cleaned it daily, ensuring a perfect seaside experience. The pool area was stunning, offering a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of sun loungers and excellent service. I also enjoyed the spa, where soothing massages in a peaceful setting provided the ultimate relaxation. The hotel organizes fantastic excursions, including a visit to the famous Prison Island and unforgettable sunset dhow cruises. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be back!

Babalao Bungalows tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Nungwi. Mi estadía en Babalao Bungalows estuvo excepcional. La vibra en el hotel es muy relajante y bohemia. Tiene mucha arte local y la habitación es muy limpia. Sus dueños están siempre presente asegurándose de que todo esté en orden. Max nos ofreció recomendaciones de restaurantes y sitios a donde ir. El área y locación es muy segura esta cerca de dos playas a 5 minutos y muchos restaurantes y bares. Siempre que requerimos de algo, la respuesta fue inmediata. El desayuno es muy completo y variado y tienen otros menús con precios muy competitivos a comparación de otros restaurantes. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Ananda Beach Hotel está a pocos pasos de Playa de Paje y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, piscina al aire libre, jardín y zona de playa privada. Se ofrece wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. El ambiente en el hotel es fantástico. Que todo sea arena te da sensación de estar constantemente en la playa, puedes ir descalzo todo el rato. La piscina nos encantó porque siempre encontrábamos sombra o sol en función de lo que quisiésemos y el acceso directo a la playa es genial. Las habitaciones limpias y echaban anti mosquitos dos veces al día. El desayuno muy bueno, después de un mes en Tanzania es un auténtico lujo poder tomar un buen café de máquina. El día del checkout nos dejaron dejar la habitación a las 15.30h que es cuando venía nuestro taxi a recogernos que es de agradecer antes de un viaje tan largo de vuelta a España.

Dhow Beach Boutique Hotel está en Nungwi, a pocos pasos de Playa de Nungwi, y ofrece alojamiento frente a la playa con zona de playa privada, entre otros. The resort is located right next to Nungwi beach and has a big nice restaurant on the sea terrace. When it's high tide you are dining right above the sea and it is very peaceful and joyful. Here is a short summary of what we liked during our stay: - Welcome. The Turkish manager (or the owner maybe) did a very warm welcome: we had a pleasant small talk, he told us about nearby places and recommendations. He also texted a brief local guide with recommendations and prices. This saved us some money in the markets and water taxi. Overall, this welcome cheered us up after a long trip and set the great tune for the rest of the stay. - Staff. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful: starting from the cleaning crew and the restaurant staff, up to reception, security and the management. I've seen the restaurant crew being very tired in the end of the day. Yet, they always remain cheerful and helpful which shows just how hard they work. They don't ask for it, but I foster everybody leaving good tips during the stay, or in the end of it. Kudos to everybody! - Meals and Drinks. The chef is very good and all the meals were well-balanced and delicious. Can say the same for the drinks. We stayed in different places and different resorts and in other places we might have wanted to have more variety in the menu, or for the portions to be bigger or for the meals to be tastier. But in this resort we never had such thoughts. On our last day we were dining on the terrace. Since we were checking out very early in the morning, we knew that we needed to do the end payment for the restaurant bills. So the manager/owner approached us. But it wasn't about the payment, he was going home at that time and just wanted to shake our hands, to thank us for the stay and to wish us good luck. So the stay was perfect from the beginning to the very end and we wish we could stay there longer but our trip was ending.
