Located 1 mile from Acadia National Park, Acadia Inn has an on-site trail that accesses the park. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning and guests can enjoy swimming in the outdoor pool. Cannot think of anything that could have been better! All comforts imaginable, big comfortable beds and rooms, self service laundry, a huge help on a weeks’ long trip, outdoor pool and a jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor space for the kids and adults alike with lots of toys provided. Evenings around the fire pit making s’mores, an amazing experience for our kids coming from Europe, having never done it before of course. A nice breakfast too. Complimentary treats all day long, snacks and lemonade in the lobby. Above all, the care we received from the staff, unbelievably nice and helpful all of them. We stayed in multiple hotels during our stay in the US and I cannot understand how Acadia Inn only earned its three stars! Our stay at the Inn was a straight five star experience!

This was one of our best stays in the US! I don't know where to start: the building and the room were beautifully decorated and maintained, since this is an old mansion with fantastic architecture! The room was very big and stunning, with a beautiful bathroom and super comfortable beds. The staff also upgraded our room to a better and bigger one, with a balcony and a view of the seaside! Also the location is very central in Bar Harbor, allowing to reach the town on foot. I must also mention the fantastic breakfast we had, cooked on the spot by the kitchen staff and delicious.

We thought of this booking more like an Airbnb, rent a room style. We are not really familar with the Bed & Breakfast concept shown here. But it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner live in the building and renting out two nice rooms in the main Building and one room in a little house in the backyard. They where very nice people with great advices for our trip in Bar Harbor and the two dogs where an added bonus. - Everything is very new and nicely furnished and decorated. - Breakfast is homecooked every morning and was exceptional! - Awesome place to also meet other guests and exchange about the vacation planing

Wonderful small bungalows, well maintained and cosy. Althoug, quite compact, a family of four has all they need. On site all is provided for Bbq including fuel. Outdoor games and the ground are superby kept by the team.

When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Subsequently, she suggested places to visit or eat, and remained available for our questions. plus there was always freshly prepared food on the table. it was very warm. in addition to the smell of the hotel which was very pleasant. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!
