What a fantastic gem! I almost hesitated to give a review in the event too many people find this lovely spot, but the owners, staff, and spot deserve a beaming review. We loved the layout, care taken with decor and functionality of the unit, and the closeness to a private beach! The pool and deck was just outside the unit which was so nice. They also provide everything you need for the beach and many of the basic tools/toiletries needed in the kitchen and bathroom, which is ideal for anyone flying in like ourselves. We also loved the care taken by everyone there.. we felt very welcome, and that we could contact them anytime if needed. They've been working so hard to restore the inn after the hurricane this October, and we can confidently say they've done a fabulous job. We would love to return one day soon! Definitely an ideal stay for anyone looking for a true island/beach getaway with the comforts of home.

Offering an outdoor pool and year-round outdoor pool, Seahorse Cottages on Sanibel is set in Sanibel in the Sanibel Island Region, 900 metres from Sanibel Lighthouse. Loved the location to the beach and the quietness of the area. Sad to see the devastation from Hurricane Ian but the property itself was put back together very nicely.

The property was located in a perfect situation, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. The unit was spotllessly clean with modern high quality furnishings and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was an added bonus giving a quiet area to either sit in or flop into a hammock. BBQ and bikes provided 😀

Our Unit 14C was only a few steps from the beach. The property is still recovering from Ian but they are working on it daily. Landscaping was being worked on during our stay and it is beautiful.

Wonderful location, great sunrise and sunsets. No problems with mosquitoes in this apartment as they have a fine mesh which surrounds the balcony and the windows, Great bonus. Suggest when you go to the beach to wear oil on top of your sunscreen to stop the bugs from biting in the early evening. Apartment was well equipped with everything. Clean, comfy and spacious.It was good exercise climbing the stairs every day. Beautiful white sands.

Location was close to everything we wanted to see/do/needed. Beach was a short walk. Having laundry facility on site was also very nice. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.
