Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The manager, Petro, made us feel at home and was always there to help us get the most out of our stay with local recommendations and, in general, a very kind person. All staff are excellent and service-minded. We enjoyed our room and the overall very comfortable atmosphere of the hotel. Next time we return to Cape Town, this is where we will stay. This is where we also had the best breakfast during our two-week stay in Cape Town in similarly priced hotels. The surrounding area is beatiful, close to nature, and extremely safe.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Boschendal Farm Estate is located in Simondium, a 10-minute drive from Franschhoek. Free WiFi access is available. The ground and building were glorious and the staff very approachable and helpful. The Friday night BBQ was the highlight, eating pizzas and drinking wine under the illuminated tree boulevard was wonderful.
