The most incredible place to stay. Our knowledgeable guide Leo found so many amazing animals, this was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The staff were exceptional, our tent was excellent, the food was incredible.

Situated in Grietjie Nature Reserve, 26 km from the Phalaborwa Gate to Kruger National Park, Ngalali Retreat features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a bar and a... Wonderful location in Greater Kruger, Xander, Lorenza, Elly, Helen and all other staff were so welcoming and friendly. Organized tours were excellent, Everybody has great knowledge about the area and wildlife, we learned a lot. Also the sundowners were so nice and we had a lot of fun. The rooms were also lovely, every room decorated with love and attention and, very important, equipped with comfortable beds. As one of the few fenced lodgings in the area it was ideal for our 8 year old as she could play in the sand while we were in between the tours without having to watch her all the time, she also had a wonderful time and is still talking about it. Last but not least the food, the wonderful homemade food...I both love Italian food and South African meat/braai and you get it all during your stay, paired with an exceptional breakfast it left just nothing more to wish for. Thank you for providing us with an unforgettable stay.

We had such an amazing stay here. There’s legit elephants coming to drink by the pool area and were there almost every day 💜 the game drives were brilliant. we managed to see the big five in under 3 days. will defo come back here again!

What an absolutely amazing place and people. Couldn’t asked for a better place to spend my new year! Brian, Donald, Lynn, Mamsi and the rest of staff made me feel so at home and taken care of. Rooms/tents are very spacious and comfortable with a huge terrace so you can really take in the surroundings. Dinner around the fireplace in the evening was lovely, and the food was amazing! Be prepared to gain a couple kilos - it’s so worth it ;) They will arrange any activity for you and I can also highly recommend the bush walks. I hope to be back at Lion Tree Top soon!

Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers. Absolutely everything about Africa on Foot is amazing. Staff are attentive, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. They truly make the the place what it is. Outstanding hospitality (best we have had). Facilities are clean and tastefully decorated. Food.. Just Wowwww! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were always a treat. The pools were beautifully located and clean. The rooms were spacious. The morning walks were such a treat. The guides are first class and work hard to show you as much as possible, whilst also giving you interesting information about then bush and its animals. The arvo/night drives were out of this world. We saw soooo much. Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, birds!! And much much more. This place is a must. Don't hesitate to book. We wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights.

Situated in the Balule Nature Reserve, Muweti Bush Lodge offers the opportunity for wildlife encounters at its waterhole, where elephants and other game come to drink. My fiancée and I had 3 spectacular days at Muweti Lodge! Mike, Laura, Neil and staff are extraordinary people! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, we felt as if we were at home or visiting our parents' house because the reception and care they showed us were exceptional! They truly care about each guest's well-being and how everyone is feeling. We have dietary restrictions. Every meal was served considering our restrictions. Regarding the lodge, the experience of being immersed in the savanna is indescribable! The room is very comfortable and spacious, with a comfy bed, a very nice bathroom, and a balcony with an amazing view. You can see some many animals from within the property! They provide game drives twice a day, and it was incredible. We saw many animals! On the game drives their focus is always on providing the best experience for the guests! The meals were very good and diverse! Every night a campfire was lit and all people at place had a good moments! We hope to return to Muweti soon! We are already recommending the place to everyone who asks us about our experiences in South Africa!
