Self check-in was nice (if you are prepared and have written down the code). Nice to have en-suite bathroom and underfloor heating and temperature controller in the room. Excellent location - quiet but close to shops, Manx Museum and Douglas promenade, Sea Terminal and buses. Communal kitchen was handy. The hostel manager was kind and helpful.

Nelly was amazing. She even upgraded my dorm room to a private room, which I was most appreciative of, as i wasn't feeling all that well. The hostel is spotlessly clean, very well maintained, a short walk from the Promenade and it's easy to get into town. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. Security is also top notch and I felt very safe here. I'll definitely be back. 10/10😊

Our ancestors used to own this hotel, so we were keen to see it for ourselves. Not disappointed - gorgeous location next to a dramatic rocky shore. Very comfortable room overlooking the beach; a convivial woody bar; good food/beer and very pleasant and helpful staff. Top notch and very proud to finally see the place !!
