Absolutely gorgeous location and property. Very clean and tidy throughout, all the beds were super comfortable and everyone had a great night's sleep. The lounge is very cosy and easily fit all eight of us visiting, and the dining room looks out over the stunning view. There is a gorgeous outside seating area. The house has several windows which allows it to cool down quickly in the heat (we were visiting during the spring heatwave). The kitchen was very clean and had a large fridge which made it very easy for us to store all the food we brought. Upstairs, the four bedrooms are all double beds (one of the pictures implies there is a room with twin beds) but they can all (but one) be separated, but I think you will need to request single mattresses. The bathrooms were all very clean and of good size. We had a wonderful stay with no issues or concerns! Things you may want to bring: - Sleep mask - if you're sensitive to light, the curtains are good but not blackout curtains. - Ear plugs - whilst the location is very quiet, we had the great pleasure of a peacock deciding to charm us at 5 in the morning with his dulcet screams. Obviously this isn't the owner's fault, but if you're a light sleeper, it's worth considering! (The peacock came to say goodbye to us too, he was quite a charmer!)

    Location was fab - close enough to walk into town for all meals, without being right in the centre. Decor and design was really well done and of a high standard... really nice touches. Dog friendly room was well set out, so we all felt like we had our own space. Loved the keyless code entry etc. Team were brilliant with queries and requests before and during stay.

    Great location, comfy beds and really peaceful at night, no noise at all! It is so close to the town centre and everything you need is on your doorstep. We didn't use the car at all, we could walk everywhere. It's so good that it's dog friendly too because it's such a popular place for dog owners. Andrew was right on hand for any questions we had too and answered straight away! Thank you for a lovely weekend.

    Great Hotel ,stayed two nights B&B, and ate in the dog friendly dining room. Food, location, room, staff all very good. We took our well-behaved little dog with us. There where feeding and water bowls with doggy treats in the room when we arrived. Would we stay there again? DEFINITELY YES.

    Great location, close the centre of Windermere village, good restaurants/bars at the end of the road. A decent walk down to Bowness and the lake but worth the steps with plenty to see/do. Very quiet, couldn't hear any unwnated noise (apart from our dog). Pet friendly which was a bonus as was the free parking at the rear. Evelyn was great and very friendly, would recommend staying here.

    Cosy apartment, well equipped for a family with small dog. Great location. Very dog friendly pubs, cafes etc. Booths supermarket and train station a few minutes walk away. John the owner greeted us and informed us of a lovely local walk Orrest Head which gave amazing views of Windermere lake and the surrounding county. Health club access was a lovely added bonus. Very secure and safe apartment, well equipped with even a dog bed and dog bowls etc . Very peaceful at night. Great location for walking.
