Great location next to the sea. In peaceful area, but not isolated with the town accessible by motorbike. Really enjoyed the snorkeling trip organised by the hotel. Lovely seafront villa in beautiful compound.

Cosy place close to the beach, hosts were very friendly. The north part of the island is very calm. We enjoyed exploring around with a scooter and canoë.

Villa Tengkek was no doubt one of the highlights of our Indonesia trip. Both the interior and exterior are stunning. The house is beautifully decorated with a clear eye for art and design and the surrounding garden and private beach are absolutely breathtaking. Stephane and his staff were wonderful, the food excellent, and the were attentive and helpful while you still had complete privacy.

If you come here solely to dive or snorkel, it might be worth it. The dive team — especially Bram as a dive instructor — is truly excellent. The coral is more beautiful than in many other places in Indonesia.
