Adi and his family were the perfect hosts. Breakfast was the best we had in Flores and It was such a pleasure to spend a night with the family in their home.

One of our most pleasant stays in Flores. Everyone from the family is very warm and welcoming. It is a humble house and a very loved one. What made the stay stand out was given the shared nature of the space, small spontaneous interactions would always be occurring. This could lead to interesting and fun conversations or even trying some local Indonesian snacks. Tea, coffee and drinking water freely available. Their kitchen is also your kitchen along with letting us use their fridge too. Scooter rental is available at a good price. The scooter and helmets are well maintained. They can also help you book transport to your next destination as they helped us book the 7am bus to Bajawa. On top of that, they even woke up extra early to prepare us breakfast which was totally unexpected. The mum even noticed our empty food container so she decided to cook us some delicious nasi goreng for the bus ride. It’s a small thing, but made a world of difference for the long journey. Would highly recommend staying here, even if you’re just passing through! You won’t regret it.

We spent Christmas in this wonderful homestay, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place! Fluffy, Theresa, and Andrea welcomed us like family – with warmth and kindness. Thanks to them, we truly felt the Christmas spirit, even though we were far from home. Unfortunately, I arrived in Ruteng feeling unwell, but the care we received from our hosts was simply incredible. Theresa took care of us like a real mother – preparing light meals, making sure we had everything we needed, and checking on us to help us recover quickly. Andrea and Fluffy were also very helpful and kind. This homestay is not just a place to sleep – it’s a home filled with warmth and care. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality and hope to return someday! If you’re looking for a place with soul and wonderful hosts, this is where you should stay. Thank you for the recommendations and the morning tour to a nearby hidden waterfall. Also, the sunrise is beautiful, you sée it right from your room. Hope we will see you again.
