This family is just awesome, as well as the rooms! You have the whole downstairs area for yourself. The mother is a great cook and prepares authentic sri lanka food! I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Belihuloya Adventure Camp! Tucked away in the lush highlands of Sri Lanka, this camp is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and pristine forests. The cool climate adds to the charm, making it a perfect escape from the heat. The activities offered are top-notch, from adrenaline-pumping canoeing, and trekking, to the more relaxed nature trails. The highlight for me was the canoeing. Activity expert Hemantha is highly experienced and ensured safety at every turn, which made the adventure all the more enjoyable. Accommodation at the campsite was comfortable, offering a true "back-to-nature" experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their passion for the outdoors and commitment to providing a memorable experience really stood out. The food was another highlight – delicious and hearty, perfect after a long day of activities. We were treated to local cuisine with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. Whether you're looking for an action-packed adventure or a peaceful retreat in nature, Belihuloya Adventure Camp has it all. I recommend this place for any nature lover! I'll definitely be back for more adventures soon.

Beautiful and peaceful location with a river in the Back yard. Surrounded by greenery and forest. Lasantha and staff are warm and friendly and went above and beyond. I was leaving early morning to Horton Plains for a hike and they had a packed lunch ready for me at 4 am! The food was traditional and tasty. There are 3 cottages for accommodation with good wifi, comfortable bed and hot water.

This is a beautiful place where you'll find yourself in tune with nature in it's fullest glory. Every aspect of 'the Woods' exudes a natural vibe. Lots of wood, clay elements, beautiful plants everywhere. It has clearly been well-maintained. The staff is very friendly. Also there is a beautiful forest that they have partly cultivated and partly kept in it's pristine purity. If you want there are a few waterfalls with natural ponds where you can take a dip. The view from the main building is beautiful and at night there are just a few lights, giving you the feeling that uninhabited places still exist. You really feel like you are in the woods, surrounded by nature. A welcome change from most places where too much has been built. This is really a natural retreat space. Beautiful ❤️

For a simple authentic experience with great management and service you should stay here. Food is cooked fresh and the manager is lovely. We stayed a night and had dinner, breakfast and lunch. Rooms are simple but with a hot shower and very quiet. The other hotels near charge a lot but seem to have less soul!

The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

Beautiful, quiet place to stay with huge rooms and attentive staff. Their food was excellent but we could also walk into town for food there. The owner arranged for a tuktuk to pick us up from Horton Plains after Stage 10 of the Pekoe Trail, making transportation much easier since there’s no signal at the park. He also helped me recover a lost hiking pole from a train station which was a life saver! Highly recommend!

Nice hotel. Basic room, but the owners were really friendly and good. They made me a big dinner, arranged a Tuk Tuk to get to World’s End and gave me a packed lunch. Ohiya is also a nice location. Recommended if you’re there.
