Hostess was very friendly and offered guidance on surrounding attractions and discussed the historical aspects of the complex which was enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and warm. The kitchen facilities were serviceable.

The room is quite big and the view.. just the view is worth the money.. it's very close to the beach and possibly the only eatery in the town. You can just take the stairs down for a couple of mins or just drive down. It's a very homely stay and again..the view is just stunning. Just take note they just take cash so remember to keep some!

good sized room and it had a laundry. Manager was super friendly and even took my washing out of the dryer, folded it and put it in my room.

Very private hideaway in a great location for visiting the Catlins. Beautifully furnished and well set up for ones every need. Highly recommended.

A cosy cabin, very comfortable. Unexpected views down to the river & beach. Great place to explore the Caitlins from. Our hosts Fergus & Mary were brilliant & made us feel very welcome. A very interesting couple to chat to, and a pleasure looking at Fergus's beautiful artwork. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

The cabin was great. Everything we needed for our stay. David was great, extremely flexible, and helpful. Four-legged visitors were a bonus. Amazing views, native bird sounds, and sighting of wood pigeons. The store/ eatery down the road had great food. Location to the rest of The Catlins was awesome. Definitely will be returning ☺️
