Customer service and general attitude of all the staff were exceptional. Location was fantastic. Hotel itself is beautiful. Its been an extremely long time since I have had this kind of service at a hotel - a must stay when in Samarkand.

Basically a new hotel and the rooms have everyday cleaning options (super clean). Rooms have a 4m height ceiling, quite astonishing, the modern bathroom has clean facilities. Regarding the location, there is an app yandex taxi (take the comfort one) which will get you wherever you want for just 1€ in any direction and €2 to the airport.

So close to everything in the city. 2 corner store as well at 1 minute, very convenient. The rooms are very clean and new. The matress seems new as well. Rooms all have private entrance from the courtyard. They have a cold and hot water fountain 24h there. They serve wonderful breakfast included with local pastry, vegetables, cookies and egg with sausage. Siyob bazaar is 4 min. walk. They both speak enough english and they run the place with their niece and nefew who where beetween 12 and 15 I'd say. I went there in july I guess that's why the kids where there. Even the kids speaks enough english to access my demands. He offer me to pay cash or credit. Everything was as written. I would go back there anytime. Thanks for everything.

We loved this place so much we will come back in 2 weeks at the end our trip. It is probably the warmest and most welcoming hotel we've ever stayed in. The family who run the hotel are absolutely lovely; it's almost as if we were part of an extended family. The food is wonderful too; we had a super plov, some fantastic local soup with meatballs, and big home cooked breakfasts everyday. We met other travellers and enjoyed long conversations based on smiles, hand gestures, basic English and Google translate. It's a 5 minute walk to the Registan but still very quiet on an unassuming side street. Our double room was a little small but spotlessly clean

The rooms were squeaky clean, well appointed, and modern. The host Utkur, and his wife Zenaida are absolutely hands on, and very receptive and responsive. The breakfast is varied and well prepared. In fact Zenaida even took us to the railway station at 5 in the morning so that there was no slip up with a taxi at that unearthly hour. To top it all, she gave us packed breakfast. Would recommend the property any day. As you would know use the Yandex app to book taxis, as they are very reliable and inexpensive. THANK YOU UTKUR AND ZINAIDA

    Went with the Jahongir GH because the guidebooks recommended it and wasn’t disappointed. If you don’t really want to spend money on an overpriced boutique hotel or risk an unknown backpacker hostel, this is a nice balance. The place we clean, full of character and the breakfast was amazing. The beds we’re simple but probably the most comfortable I slept in throughout my stay in Uzbekistan (even some 4 star hotel beds can’t compete. The location is great too, close to Registan but not too close that you’ll hear the tourist swarms.

    Our Superior Deluxe Twin Room was very spacious and well-furnished. The renovation works seem to have been done recently. Everything seems to be new. The hotel is also pet-friendly so we were able to stay there with our dog, which was the main reason why we chose the hotel.
