A true hidden gem in Port St. Johns. The views from the room are incredible — waking up to them was a highlight of our stay. Mark, the host, was extremely friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Don’t miss the chance to walk down to Amapondo (about 10 minutes) for a beer and great vibes. We also loved the seafood — including an amazing paella. Such a special place!

It was a brilliant, neatly kept place. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Short walking distance to the estuary which I lovely for swimming in the afternoon. The host was so kind and attentive and her art pieces from paintings to pottery just had us floored!

Louis welcomed us warmly when we arrived. We were surrounded by the beautiful hilltop lights when we sat next to the campfire. The accommodation was really cozy, spacious and in proximity to the Magwa Waterfalls, which we visited the next morning. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want to escape the stressful city life.
