We booked Sunset Shoreline Saranda at the last minute after an unexpected change of plans, and it turned out to be a great surprise. The property sits high on the hills with absolutely superb sea views, but be ready for some serious uphill driving and unpaved roads to get there. Once you arrive, it’s worth it. Our deluxe suite (queen bed and sofa bed) was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The bathroom was stylish, and we appreciated small details like the in-room safe, touchscreen controls for AC and door access, and a cozy balcony. I’d recommend staying on the 2nd or 3rd floor since old pine trees partly block the sea view at the 1st floor. Breakfast was excellent, an open buffet with fresh fruit, pastries, sunny-side-up eggs, and omelets. I honestly don’t understand the complaints some reviewers had; everything was plentiful and tasty. Each guest also gets one hot drink from the coffee bar for free. The on-site restaurant serves good Italian dishes, and we even received an invoice without asking, which shows their professionalism. Parking is spacious and stress-free, far from the traffic of Saranda’s center. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room. Overall, a comfortable and scenic stay that exceeded our expectations.

Such a wonderful stay. The host was incredibly warm and hospitable, with grapes on arrival and a coffee and biscuit in the morning. The room and location are exceptional. The view of sunset from our room was indescribable. There is a small rocky entrance to the sea directly under the hotel, which is nice to walk around if you have good balance and appropriate shoes. To the right of the hotel there is beach access with nice sand. We didn't get a chance to swim, but it seems like a great spot for lounging all day. We also loved the kitties :)

I had the pleasure of staying at Jimi Apartments 2 in Vlorë for five nights in June, and overall, it was a very good experience. The apartment offered a peaceful and stylish retreat just a short distance from the coastline, with a modern design and a stunning view that added a special charm to my mornings and evenings. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged for comfort and relaxation. I particularly appreciated the balcony setup — it was perfect for unwinding while enjoying the sea breeze. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the warm days much more comfortable. The staff were friendly and responsive. While I didn’t require much assistance, their presence was reassuring and they made check-in smooth and stress-free. The location is convenient for exploring Vlorë, with cafes, shops, and the beach all within easy reach. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and access to local attractions.

Nearby is a great beach and 2 km further north there is a very nice unofficial beach. The owner is very kind and helpful.
