The attention to detail in the room for our comfort, not to mention including toiletries for our children, did not go unnoticed. The breakfast spread was my husband’s favorite part of our trip! Staff was friendly and accommodating for us coming in at a later hour and allowing us to park. Since we had a rental car it was not an issue to not be walking distance into the historic center. I wish we could have stayed here longer! One of the best places we’ve stayed at in a while.

The reception staff was wonderful, professional and helpful. The hotel is modern. The room was above and beyond expectations. The breakfasts were delicious and the variety was just right. The wifi was strong and stable and I had convenient parking at the entrance to the hotel.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool with hot mineral water, Hotel Starosel is located on the outskirts of the village of Starosel and is decorated in traditional Bulgarian style with natural materials like wood, stone and wool. It has a piano bar with karaoke and its own winery. The spa is very good. I like very much the outside swimming poll. There is a big choice of spa facilities, including for children. The dinner and the breakfast were very good too.

The International Fair is a 5-minute walk away, while Plovdiv's Old Town is a 15-minute walk away. Everything was just perfect! The room was beautiful, clean, modern, spacious and with a nice view! The staff was really friendly and helpful :) Special thanks to kind people at reception desk and the administrator, they helped me with so many things there, from early Check-in to finding a good driver and planning a short trip outside Plovdiv! The breakfast was very nice, and there is also a stylish restaurant to eat sushi (and not only sushi) and have some cocktails downstairs. Overall was really happy with my choice, and would definitely recommend this place to everyone!)

A very comfortable place, with a perfect host. There are shops nearby and parking is possible. I checked in earlier than usual, which I am grateful for. The studio was spotless. I would stay again.
