Fantastic location, lovely staff, enjoyable breakfast and great they had bikes you can hire to ride around town.

We loved everything…all the personal touches, the privacy of the location, the attention to detail and the owner Cleiton went above and beyond…such warmth!!

The location is optimal. Walk to the grocery store in 90 seconds. Nice pool and good enough gym. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Vitor was responsive and honorable. A great host!

The hotel is simple, but clean and very quiet at night. The breakfast area is cute, close to the swimming pool. There was a very small variety of options for the breakfast, but it was OK. The location is good because it's very close to Praça da República.

Location in the central part of the city, quiet at night. The condition of the room after repair was satisfying. Hot water, A/C worked fine, comfortable mattress. Breakfast was really nice

Everything. This 10000% the best pousada. Marcia is a wonderful lovely and funny host who made sure my stay at Alter do Chao is unforgettable. The food prepared by chef Aparicio is super delicious, loved all of it. The overall atmosphere, the garden with mango tree, swimming pool, turtles, cats.
