The food at the restaurant was also excellent, especially recommend the fondue with herbs, it was delicious!

The meals in their own restaurant is very delicious, no English menu though. We could pay by Dutch bankcard. Receptionist speaks English. There are 2 supermarkets in 300 meters. The room has a minifridge, where you can put your cooled items.

HÔTEL DE VILLE - La Baie Du Lac is offering accommodation in L’Abbaye. Boasting a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at the hotel. I thought the rating of 7 is a bit harsh as I found the hotel to be quite adequate. Yes the property is old, but it is well maintained and clean. Adequate free parking and lovely view of the lake contributed to a pleasant stay. Did not take dinner or breakfast so can’t speak to the food service.

Please add in the 2nd paragraph: Relax at our charming little SPA: Le Nautilus. The breakfast was to the standard of a normal small Swiss hotel. Lacking in the choice of a larger hotel. No complaints.

The Hotel de la Lande is a renovated 19th-century coaching inn in Le Brassus village, in the heart of the Watch Valley and a 45-minute drive away from both Geneva and Lausanne. It provides forest views, free private parking, and free WiFi in all areas of the property. Cleanliness and comfort were superb. The rooms were very dark while sleeping which is very much needed while travelling. The staff were very kind.
