I have to start from words “I don’t have enough words” to explain how amazing was our stay in this lovely place. So, I will try. Manager and owner Kate very nice and kind person. She helped us to make reservations for many attractions. Also she always been in touch with us, provided information about interesting spots, food places, tickets etc. Big bonus - Kate can speak English very well. Kate’s mom had cooked breakfast and lunch for us and it was really amazing, I literally felt in love with simple homemade Chinese food thanks to her 😍 Location is very good. Very quiet at night. And the same time just few steps away from ferry, then a couple of minutes by boat and you are in the middle of hustle and bustle West Street. Guest house itself is very nice, reception is interesting decorated. Washing machine and free detergent are available on the roof top. Free water bottles at the reception. Rooms and bathrooms are big. We had balcony room and the river view was great. So, I definitely can recommend to book this place. You will never regret for sure. Thank you again Kate! Hotel arranged everything for us incl free pick up and drop off service to/from train station, a English speaking guide with whole packages of sightseeing arrangements and excursions. The route is very enjoyable incl famous mountain n water boat tour, visit to cave, Osmantus factory, rice terrace and tea plantation. I don't know how they manage in high season like August, we don't have troubles of crowds as they re so experienced to find qualified spots with much less tourists, so we enjoyed stunning beauty of Guilin/Yangshuo at much ease. Finally we made Chinese dumpling together. Hotel offers top service to our full satisfaction👍 by the way breakfast is delicious and healthy with exotic fruits❤️

The view from the balcony is awesome. Very nice owner who speaks English. He took me to the bus station with his own car. They have a cook. Very nice breakfast, coffee, dinner, beer etc available. Nice area for hikes.

The staff - Melody and guy - were extremely helpful in every way, replying to us on the messaging app, arranging for pickup transport from Gulinxi railway station, ordering dinner for us on the first day, arranging the tour to Longji rice terrace, giving us a free drink, sending dinner recommendation to us after the night cruise at 2 rivers and 4 lakes, and packing breakfast for us on the 3rd day when we were rushing off to the cruise to Yangshuo. They showed hospitality unreservedly. Simple western or Chinese breakfast taste amazingly fresh every day - from the warm big egg, to noodles to the watermelon. We enjoyed breakfast against a breathtaking backdrop of Reed Flute Cliff. We still think that the first dinner at this resort with beer fish and pork ribs were the best we had on this trip.

Overall, the best and most thoughtful host I’ve ever stayed with!
