Staff was incredible kind, they upgraded my room and served my breakfast with my fruit of choice. The location couldn´t be better as it is far from the noise and boats of Playa Blanca. I suggest to ask for rooms at the second floor. The sunset view from the terrace was amazing. I would definitely com back.

We also appreciated the authenticity of the neighborhood, which gave us a real sense of local life. It was vibrant, safe, and full of character. The nearby food options were fantastic—we enjoyed everything from fresh local seafood to delicious street food, and every meal was an adventure in itself. If you’re looking for a stay where you’ll feel like part of the community while being surrounded by great food and wonderful people, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Casa palma Cartagena de Indias, Colombia is gelegen in Cartagena, op 4 minuten lopen van Playa la Boquilla en 8 km van stadsmuren van Cartagena. The house is really beautiful, rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. You can relax by the pool, use the kitchen, have a really nice breakfast. The host is amazing!!! She made sure we had a wonderful stay, offered to pick us up at the airport/city centre and then drove us when we wanted to go to the city or to the airport. Nothing was problem for her & this is what I appreciate the most. If you want a really nice place to stay in with kind people to take care of you, it’s a really good option for you. However, the neighbourhood is not nice or pleasant and neither is the beach, if you want to walk, eat out or spend time on the beach you need to go to the city centre or Getsemani. The host can drive you or you can use Uber or Drivein apps. We paid approx. $15.000 COP for one way. NEVER did we have a problem with finding a driver to take us there, but we never use a normal taxi, though. Thank you for everything.

Abel Boutique House biedt een terras en gratis WiFi. De accommodatie is goed gelegen in Cartagena, op korte afstand van Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, Goudmuseum van Cartagena en Cartagena de... When we visited, Abel was brand new, and no one had actually slept in the room we got before us. With that, it was super fresh and all nice and clean. The bed was really comfy and pillows as well. Also, many places along the Caribbean shore don't have warm showers, but here, they did. Where we stayed, in the garden house on the north side of the street (Abel has two houses, one of each side of the street), it was an outdoor patio as well. Perfect for exercise! What we also liked was that they gave us breakfast (fresh fruit, coffee and cereal) in the morning, and they also had a laundry service we used before continuing on our carribean tour. Well needed :) Abel is located on Manga, which is a location we really like. It is a short walk to the bridge, taking you to the (old) city center, but way calmer than inside the main city. Around the corner is a nice marina and a good outdoor sportcenter, which we like to use.
