The hosts, Ntinos and Demetra, were extra accommodating and very welcoming. The apartment has a fireplace which costs an extra 10 euros per night, and it is certainly worth it! View is beautiful. Access is easy but there is a bit of a walk to get there. Great for those who love a walk with a nice scenery.

Passionate bed and breakfast concept in the heart of the country in Cyprus. The hosts Sara and Tassos as well as their family, made sure we were feeling like home during our 9-night stay. If you want to experience the culture and local organic cuisine, this is your place. It's the antithesis of mass resort tourism, just what we were looking for to disconnect from our busy office routines. The house itself is big, spacious and beautiful. To our surprise it was very well connected to major highways and relatively central for travelling around the country. The room was comfy and we slept great. Breakfast was tasty and homemade, with jams and products from their own garden. The hosts are also very passionate about animals, ask them for more information on what they do to help Cypriot stray dogs and cats in the area. We also enjoyed the activities offered on site, such as halloumi making. We learnt from Tassos' mother directly, with more than 60 years of experience in cheesemaking! Sara and Tassos' were very helpful with recommendations of what to do everyday and where to eat. Protip: Go eat at Taverna tou Theodosi in nearby Deftera for a Cypriot feast. A warm, cozy place in the center of old Kakopetria, with jacuzzi and traditional bed. Very welcoming hosts, ready to help with anything needed. During Christmas period was an amazing escape. Close to the nature trails of Kakopetria.
