And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. Take a long coastal walk and discover the stunning scenery of the Basque Country along with its fascinating history and tradition. had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atalaia on the hottest day of the summer. The staff was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful with both us and our dog. They managed to get us the last available table at their restaurant, which turned out to be amazing—the food was delicious, and the chef is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. A truly warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Overlooked the fact that there was no A/C, and we ran into some warmer weather, but 2 fans were provided and the apartment did not get very hot. Kitchen had everything you would need. Nice to have free and easy parking.
