In the attic room is a cool use of space - a games loft with Nintendo Switch and games. Wifi is good the property was nice and warm on arrival.

Very comfortable furniture, sofa, the beds and table chairs. all top of the range equipment and brand new all with an antiquity touch. Lots of homely features including ornaments and picture and plaques with good life motos. christmas decorations too. the shower was high tech and shower also had retro deco and wares. the owners also came to our aid during storm Darah power cut providing candles and lanterns which was lovely, adding to our excellent adventure

Very easy to get to and close to the sea and town center. The host was very easy to communicate with and very considerate. The house itself is very spacious, very clean and the view of the sea from the apartment is a cherry on the top. Highly recommend the place.

The staff were very attentive. They were very helpful to suggest options at breakfast or in the bar. Remembered our names, drinks and asked about our day. Special mention to Byron (bar) and Martin (breakfast) who gave excellent service. Hotel was beautifully presented, not too big and felt homely despite its grandeur. Grounds beautifully kept.

Located 20 minutes’ drive from Middlesbrough, Gisborough Hall is set in peaceful private grounds. It offers a spa, a bar and an award-winning restaurant. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and one in particular went above and beyond to help me get some blister patches, which I needed badly in order to continue walking the Cleveland Way. So very grateful!
