The Oak is now our go-to place to stay when visiting our daughter who lives in Coventry. Tried a few others, but keep coming back here. Pub is spacious and very clean. The staff are lovely. Room always spotless (Alison really pulls out all the stops) Breakfast is good, lots of options included in the very reasonable rate. Good choice of beer too. Haven't eaten here other than breakfast. Really need to put that right next visit. Dog friendly too with a dog menu!

Super dog friendly hotel! They prepared a dog bed, water bowls and even dog toys which my dog loved, and no extra charge for pets! The room was spacious, clean and tidy, beds were comfortable, also there was a fridge in a room. Dogs are not allowed in a restaurant, but no problem as we could eat the breakfast at bar area. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly. Perfect location with many food options to choose from. Pub adjacent has great food and prices quite reasonable.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly (Crufts was on, so there were lots of dogs!). No extra charge for pets. Convenient location for visiting daughter at uni.

Excellent value overall. The bed was very comfortable with new pillows and linen. The location was very peaceful at the time of our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming with cheerful banter. We had a meal on our arrival which was superb and the breakfast the following morning didn't disapoint. There was even a farmers market that morning in the car park to get some local produce. They also appeared to be very dog friendly with a dedicated menu for your canine family member.
