It is very clean, comfortable and the staff is extremely polite and helpful. The pool and the rooftop view point are very nice for a lazy day. Food at the restaurant is not bad, but I wish the restaurant accepts credit card, so non locals do not have to carry a lot of cash. Our flight to Komodo airport leaves before 9 am when the breakfast starts, but the hotel staff graciously prepared box breakfast for us.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. We spent 3 nights here and it wasn’t enough ! We loved everything from the beautiful cabin with incredible views to the delicious home cooked meals. Waldé and Nao were amazing hosts from the minute we arrived. We cannot recommend this place enough !!

It’s a beautiful place, you have an incredible beach in front of you when you can do snorkeling between corals. The homemade food is delicious, breakfast the best. Thanks to them, we truly felt the Christmas spirit, even though we were far from home. Unfortunately, I arrived in Ruteng feeling unwell, but the care we received from our hosts was simply incredible. Theresa took care of us like a real mother – preparing light meals, making sure we had everything we needed, and checking on us to help us recover quickly. Andrea and Fluffy were also very helpful and kind. This homestay is not just a place to sleep – it’s a home filled with warmth and care. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality and hope to return someday! If you’re looking for a place with soul and wonderful hosts, this is where you should stay. The food for dinner and breakfast was some of the best we’ve had in Flores, and the room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and felt like we were a part of the family. We were sad to leave.

It's like a little gem in Maumere. Wish i could stay a little bit longer here. Next time sure will be back and stay at Anjo.
