The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Such a nice homestay! We really enjoyed our stay and the family is super friendly and helpful. We also went on the Island trip with them which was also very nice. The BBQ lunch at the beach that they prepared was very good and the wife cooks very yummy. Banana pancakes for breakfast are also very good. The room was very clean and spacious.

The homestay has family rooms. The owner was one of the most accommodating and helpful I met so far on my 1 1/2 years of travel. My girlfriend was sick and he gave us medicine, free homemade bread from her mother and fruits for us to recover. He invited us for dinner with his lovely family and even prepared breakfast with fresh local avocado and his own homemade coffee. The atmosphere in the house is amazingly peaceful with relaxing music playing all day round. It really felt like we were part of his family and that we were more than just customers! We are definitely going back there to have our little family reunion.

A continental breakfast is available at the lodge. Astonishing view, the owners are absolutely adorable and the bungalow was beyond our wildest dreams. So serene and peaceful. And the best part on the property they have the loveliest cat (hi Titi) and a doggo with young babies. All around perfect experience the hosts are so nice to talk to, definitely coming back very highly recommended.

Here you can see the Ikat weaving process, beautiful Marapu traditions and architecture and general village life. Eddy, the host has a lot of knowledge he can share because he grew up there. The room has views over the horce racing track. It’s very clean and comfortable.

The room was new, spacious, and very clean. The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

It’s a beautiful place, you have an incredible beach in front of you when you can do snorkeling between corals. The homemade food is delicious, breakfast the best. There is a hill behind to watch the sunset

Guests can make use of free bikes. What a beautiful home - we loved waking up to the ocean and being able to cook our own meals. The kitchen is new and well-stocked. There are lots of lovely little sitting spots and the beds are really comfy. The beach out front is magnificent for rote - great for swimming and snorkelling. We’ll be back!

For guests with children, the apartment offers outdoor play equipment. Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at Petra Homestay Bangka Leda. Fluffy, Theresa, and Andrea are such a lovely and friendly family! They were very talkative and welcoming, and we felt truly at home during our stay. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious. Not only did they give us great travel tips, but when my friend had a flat tire on the motorbike, Fluffy even helped us find a repair shop and communicated with the owner. We’re really grateful for their kindness. Hope to come back again someday:)
