Beautiful homestay, which is very well maintained and run with love and attention to details. Of course it is still a basic accomodation in a remote location with limited resources. But we were very positively surprised by the comforts. Great snorkeling reef, lots of trip options. 2 rooms with AC available for a surcharge.

We consider it to be even better than Maldives :) Also, he provides the tastiest meals ever, we both agree that it was the best food we ever had in Indonesia. Also appreciate the private western-style bathroom, which was always spotlessly clean. We absolutely love our stay at Nyande and hope to be back when Andy finishes setting up his dive shop. This holiday home with sea views features parquet floors, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. Great place. The food was good (maybe not so vegan friendly in case you are vegan, we are not), and the staff was friendly. Great common area. Diving in their dive center is also a must. Will (dive master) takes out small groups and adapts to weather, conditions and experience of the divers. We had our own toilet and bathroom and all is great considering you are quite far from everything. Higly recommend

Mares Homestay-Raja Ampat is set in Fam. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area. The accommodation provides full-day security, room service and organising tours for guests. It's a truly lovely place and if you find it available, it's your lucky day :) Go ahead and book! The house reef is a garden of joy and you find love to details in every bit of the homestay. Even thoug it is simple, it felt luxurious. The table prepared in absolute precise manner, with glasses even polished, the pier enlightened with lightbubls hidden in shells to have that extra soft ligtht and maritime touch, shared bathrooms cleaned twice a day, the coffee table always filled and plenty of hot water. Family really takes an effort and you feel the really love doing so!

The accommodation features full-day security and private check-in and check-out for guests. This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!

Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Food is really good, different every day and perfect in quantity! You can snorkel directly from the jetty and it’s lovely, but the excursion they offer are also amazing as they perfectly know the islands, the currents and everything you should know! The Sawanggrai village is very nice to visit and people are very kind! You can see coucous and puppies directly at the home stay! Go for it !

Facing the seafront in Besir, GAM BAY bungalow's features a private beach area and a garden. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house provides mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. Location was amazing, the awesome doggies, the puppy so cute.. the outdoor shower is also great and even have free soap and shampoo 👌👌 food is decent portion and served in a timely manner.. they even sang at night on the sunset deck
