The hotel is really cozy, clean, new, staff is nice, the beds are super comfortable and the breakfast was incredible. Definitely recommend!

This cozy place had everything we needed for a perfect stay - warm, immaculate, and thoughtfully equipped. Beautiful scenery right outside the window, and the landlord was wonderfully kind. Fantastic stay, we recommend this quaint cabin for anyone staying in the peninsula. It was cozy, clean, and the views were spectacular. This place was cozy but simply perfect for 4 large adults.

Its location was wonderful and a great base for us to explore the peninsula. We hope that when we go to Iceland in the future, we can stay here again. The house was so inviting and comfortable. The beds were incredible! We loved walking around Stykkishólmur; the walk up to the beacon was great and the view breathtaking. We even saw the Northern Lights while there. The host was extremely attentive and responded quickly to any questions we asked. What a find, this house in Stykkishólmur!

Grund was a warm and cozy respite from cold and extremely windy weather. The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

We had a lovely welcome from the host at the hotel. The cottage is small but very cosy with everything you need. Heating was excellent and we appreciated having a washing machine having been travelling for 3 weeks.
