Pet-friendly hotels and homes in South Iceland

it was a separate house with a kitchen (no oven). located on a farm and we walked the border of the property daily and saw horses and dogs. the owners responded to us quickly.

We loved the scenic location away from crowds, the hot tub, and it had everything we needed. We loved playing with the owners dogs! 💕

Amazing location right near Seljalandsfoss, friendly and helpful host, luxurious and comfortable rooms. Very friendly farm dog. I wish all the places I had stayed in Iceland were like this place! Great price for an unparalleled accommodation. Stay at this place while you can; once the secret is out, this place is going to be booked solid.

We stayed in the superior room with a river view. The room was very spacious and clean, and had a great view of the river. It also had hardwood floors unlike the other carpeted rooms in the hotel. It was the best value stay we had in Iceland and is an ideal location to stay in after doing the Golden circle and before heading out to the ring road. There is a food hall across the street with great options. Breakfast was also one of the best we had among the places we stayed in Iceland (only place that served scrambled eggs).

Friendly staff, pretty cool location on the river, and were helpful with everything we needed with our baby. Also, there's a place selling fried hot dogs out in the parking lot which was rad.

It has a super stunning view. You can see the farm as far as the eye can see. During summer you may see the fog around 2-3 am as you can see in the photo. It is a very peaceful environment. It's a perfect location, just 10 minutes from Hella. Sometimes in the morning, you will find Navi (a Border Collie) very smart and cute dog to play with you :D. For an EV car, every cottage has a charger.

Amazing location. The view from the communal room was perfect and even just the drive to the property. Room was basic but the bed was comfy and was very quiet. Met the resident doggo too- lots of pats!
