Our hot tubs, which are included in the stay, are located outside, 300 meters from the guesthouse. We ended up getting stranded for a few days due to weather-related road closures and the staff went above and beyond to help us get a room, plan our unexpected extended stay, and understand the road closure process in Iceland. Incredible staff - thank you!

Rooms are brightly decorated at Hof 1 Hotel and have either shared or private bathrooms. Excellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.

Arnanes was our favorite accommodation during our trip through South Iceland. A beautiful, super cozy cabin with the most beautiful views we've ever seen. The bed was incredible, and the bathroom was super large and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We can't wait to return.
