Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Vatnajokull Glacier

We loved the location of this cute cabin guest house. We loved playing with the owners 2 adorable dogs upon arrival too.

perfect location bc was going to Heinabergslón kayak the next morning, and skalafell had better reviews than smyrlabjorg. own half-cabin, very quiet, close to the main lodge where free breakfast is served. easy parking, easy to find, cute little farm dog greets you.

This is very centrally located hotel. Next petrol pum and stores. But not good for northern light watch.

Location to coastal views , super market , petr station and short walk to restaurants

Sits on the sea and the seaside rooms have an amazing view! Older hotel with worn carpets and furnishings but the staff and the location make up for this! They are walking distance to three extremely good restaurants. A walking trail is right beside the hotel. The staff is incredible, working overtime to help hot Americans find a fan :)

Great location on the south coast. Kitchen was well equipped, two bathrooms for 4 rooms, plus a common space to hang out upstairs, everything was perfect! Clean room and comfortable bed, enough space for the two of us and our baby. They had cute dogs there, too :)

The location of the house was absolutely fantastic as we could see the mountains and the glacier at a distance. It had a huge lawn and well decorated. The house has 2 bedrooms and a dining area with open kitchen. Also Pluto the owner's dog was extremely cute and charming.

Comfortable room and good location at the end of a dead-end track. We stayed for two nights and explored the Stokksnes peninsula from here. Well worth doing. We did not have any contact with the owner after our check-in, but the friendly dog came with me on an evening walk.

The place had been renovated, so all of the rooms were exceptionally well done and clean. The kitchen had every necessity you made need for a proper meal. They also had coffee and tea! The location was beautiful and close to hiking and kayaking. Plus, the dog was extremely sweet and gave me the doggie fix we were looking for. Would highly recommend the place!!
